I'm a little Sad :(

I found out today that my Grandfrather had passed away last week, I haven't seen him in some year and thought to my self the other day that - well I didn't think he had long to go, I think I'm mostly sad about it for my brother who was closer to him.

Well they have made not only fitting everything

that I need to carry easier but they are just so darn cute!

It has a Large Pocket on the Front great for the mobile phone, keys, spare dummies, etc. Back pocket has a zip on it so for all those Mama Essentials that need not be on display but need to be kept handy. There is a sippy cup one in one of my side pockets and way too many noisy toys to keep my dear 6 month old entertained in the other!

Update on the undies..... Here they are

The green and apple ones are only a size 2 they don't fit so I'm glad I made one pair to check sizing. All the others are a size 4 .... and here are some of the rest... I never get a chance to take a pic of them all but I might have a chance today :)

I have also been working on new stuff for winter for my shop ....... comming soon !

Well I feel like I had a kinda productive afternoon today I got 2 pairs of training undies made up and 2 pairs of plain undies cut out, a pair of pants each for the kids cut out and tops and bottoms for my little man - who just keeps growing overnight!!!! So hopefully the tiding of the sewing room will happen so I can get in and sew!

We are going to The Pancake Parlour tomorrow so no sewing till Monday nap time.... Bring on nap time!!!!

I also want to get my vintage inspired pattern finished and made up I want to wear it to a engagement party we have at the end of the month I also need to make a t-shirt and shirt for little man for the party (My MIL bought little miss a dress to wear for Christmas) I might need to make her a cardigan. So much sewing to little time.....

Happy New Year!

Well it was our 2nd wedding anniversary last night - Because Little Man isn't sleeping real well we just stayed at home and watch the storm that was putting on a show!
No fire works needed :)

So some things I would like to do this year are have a tidy sewing room make more clothes for me and the rest of the family, make Christmas gifts for everyone this year - And the kids birthday outfits I want to design the fabric.

70's Vinage Pattern

I found the vintage looking fabric at Spotlight, The spots was from my stash

(But i think it was from Spotlight too)

Here is a close up of the neck detail the vintage button

was a perfect match from my button jar!

The pattern did call for a 3" hem but I just did a 1" hem.

I'm going to make a few more of these up... now just to decide on what fabric????
